Yes, there is abundant parking, which is free of charge. You may choose to park at the Adventure Playground or in front of the Barns for access to the House and Gardens. On special event days parking locations will vary. Accessible Parking is located outside the Garden Entrance.
Yes, our toilets are open at both the Adventure Playground and the Garden Entrance.

Financial transactions at the Main Gate, Gift Shop and Garden Terrace Tea Room can be made by cash or card. Please note that at events, transactions with traders may be cash only and there is not a cash point on site.
We are more than happy for our visitors to take photographs of the exterior of the House, Gardens & Park. We ask that there is no flash photography within the House, and only camera phones are used within the House. All commercial filming and photography needs to be pre-arranged and is subject to location fees. Please email us for details info@knebworthhouse.com. Tripods, lighting equipment and drones are not permitted on site. Wedding photography is exclusive to couples getting married at Knebworth, Gardens and Barns.
The use of drones is not permitted. No unauthorised mechanised equipment may be used without written permission including toy cars, toy planes, miniature planes, go karts etc.
We welcome members of Historic Houses and RHS.
RHS Members will need to show their cards at the gate. The main member only is admitted free of charge on weekdays. RHS cards are not valid for weekends, events or bank holidays. See the RHS handbook for details.
If you are using a Historic Houses membership card on an event day, you will still need to purchase Park admission.
Please note Art Fund passes are not accepted.
Due to hot dry weather BBQs are not permitted.
You are welcome to picnic in the Park, but picnics are not permitted in the formal gardens.
Temporary gazebos are not permitted within the Gardens and Park. If one is set up, staff will ask visitors to take it down.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in Knebworth Park only.
Dogs are not permitted in the House, Gardens, Dinosaur Trail or inside Fort Knebworth at the Adventure Playground. Assistance dogs may be taken into all areas.

Yes, children must be at least 1.2 metres and able to ride alone on the drop and curly slides. Children under 1.2 metres and over 0.8 metres can ride the curly slide only if they are accompanied by a responsible person over 16 years old on the same mat. On the Astro Slide children under 1 metre must be accompanied by a responsible person over 16 years old on the same mat. This slide has no minimum height restriction (when accompanied by a responsible person) but all riders must be able to walk unaided to be able to take a turn.
