Knebworth House Announces Easter Trail and Daily Opening for the School Holidays

Knebworth House, Gardens, Park, Adventure Playground and Dinosaur Trail will be open daily throughout the school Easter holidays from Saturday 28th March to Sunday 12th April, offering families the perfect spring day out.

Signs of Spring Easter Trail, 3rd – 6th April
Over the long Easter Bank Holiday weekend (Friday 3rd – Monday 6th April), Knebworth Gardens & Park will host an egg-citing Signs of Spring Easter Trail.

As the gardens burst into life, children can become nature detectives and discover the wonders of the changing season. Animals are waking from hibernation; birds are building nests whilst colourful flowers are beginning to bloom, and young explorers are invited to spot the signs of spring along the way.

Families can pick up a trail sheet and follow the clues through the gardens. Once completed, participants can head to the shop to collect a special chocolate treat.

Designed for children aged 3–8 years, this outdoor activity is ideal for families looking for a wonderful way to enjoy fresh air and nature together over the Easter Bank Holiday.

Trail sheets are £2 per participant. General admission applies. Book your tickets here.

Archery Sessions, 3rd & 4th April
Channel your inner Robin Hood on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th April with fun, friendly drop-in archery sessions in Knebworth Park. In partnership with Green Dragon Bowmen Archery Club, visitors can try their hand at archery for £3 for 6 arrows.

Autism-Friendly Early Opening, Thursday 2nd April
On Thursday 2nd April, Knebworth Gardens & Park will host a dedicated autism-friendly early opening from 8:30am. The Gardens, Park, Adventure Playground and Dinosaur Trail will open early for families with children and adults on the autistic spectrum, and those with learning disabilities, sensory or communication disorders.

The session aims to provide a quieter, more relaxed environment for families to enjoy the facilities.

Springtime Adventures for All Ages
Knebworth Gardens & Park are bursting with spring colour and outdoor fun. Visitors can explore the stunning gardens in bloom, venture along the Dinosaur Trail, and enjoy the popular Adventure Playground complete with slides, swings and climbing frames.

The Garden Terrace Tea Room and Fort Knebworth Kiosk will be open throughout the holidays, serving a selection of cakes, snacks, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks.
