Knebworth House is delighted to announce the return of its autism friendly early opening on Tuesday 8th April, during the Easter holidays. The Gardens, Park, Adventure Playground and Dinosaur Trail will open early at 8:30am for families with children and adults on the autistic spectrum, with learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders with the aim to give families the chance to enjoy the facilities in a quieter, more peaceful environment.
This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the 28-acres of tranquil Formal Gardens, spacious Deer Park, Dinosaur Trail with 72 life-sized prehistoric creatures, Gift Shop, relaxing Garden Terrace Tea Room and the Adventure Playground which was designed with a strong consideration of inclusion for all, such as a roundabout with its own wheelchair station, a nest swing and sensory equipment, without the loud and busy crowds.
To attend, simply purchase a Gardens & Park admission ticket for Tuesday 8th April either online at a discounted rate of £14 or full price £15.50 on arrival. Please note, from 10:30am the Park, Gardens & Playground will be open as usual to the public, but you are welcome to stay until close at 5:00 pm.
