Country, Craft & Steam Fair returns to Knebworth House

On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August from 10 am-5 pm (last admission 4 pm), Oakleigh Fairs will return to Knebworth House with the Country, Crafts & Steam Fair.

 

The event aims to offer something for everybody with many superb shows and displays, featuring a Horseback Display Team, dramatic birds of prey flying displays, terrier racing, children’s entertainer Mario Magic, the goat show including bottle feeding lambs and children’s petting pens, historical re-enactment and demonstrations of rural skills.

 

Tickets booked online before the day of the event qualify for a 10% discount off the full-price of £10 for ages 3 and above, or £36.00 for a family ticket/group of four. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day at full price. Park & Gardens entry is free for Season Ticket holders and children under 3. House tickets can be purchased at a supplement of £4 for adults, £3.50 for senior citizens / children.

 

It’ll be a great day out for the whole family at fantastic value as included with the price of Park & Gardens entry are: the Country, Crafts & Steam Fair event, the Adventure Playground with Fort Knebworth located in 250 acre Deer Park, and the 28-acres of Formal Gardens which features the Garden Sculpture Exhibition, an Edwardian maze and the trail of 72 life-sized pre-historic creatures.

There is ample free parking at the show site, the Adventure Playground, and Barns car park. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the Park and show area (but not the House, Gardens or inside Fort Knebworth).

 

A variety of locally produced items, brochures and crafts can be bought from our Gift Shop, including a range of Knebworth House branded items. Pop into our Tea Room and enjoy a selection of light lunches, homemade cakes, sandwiches and drinks; there is plenty of inside and alfresco seating.
