Food lovers, mark your calendars! The Great British Food Festival is back at the stunning Knebworth House, Gardens & Park on the weekend of July 19th & 20th, promising a deliciously entertaining experience for the whole family.
Set against the backdrop of one of Hertfordshire’s most iconic estates, this much-loved event brings together a mouth-watering selection of local and regional artisan producers, sizzling street food vendors, live chef demonstrations, pop-up bars, craft stalls, and a packed programme of family entertainment — all accompanied by great live music.
Culinary Highlights & Chef Demos
This year’s chef demo stage will feature a fantastic line-up of culinary talent, including well-known faces and top chefs from acclaimed local pubs and restaurants. Join them as they showcase their favourite dishes and cooking tips in an interactive, light-hearted setting. Chef compère Nick shares, “It’s all about having fun while learning something new — and we always get the audience involved! Pull up a seat and enjoy a dish or two with us.”
Fun for All Ages
Beyond the food, the festival offers a wide range of family-friendly activities. Children can roll up their sleeves in the Kids’ Cookery School, crafting treats like Rocky Road Truffles and Chocolate Flower Pots, while parents relax nearby. The weekend also features a foraging walk, funfair rides, bouncy castles, circus skills workshops, a treasure hunt, and the always-popular Man vs. Food challenge. Budding bakers can also take part in the Cake Off — with free entry to the festival for all participants. Plus, don’t miss the adorable mini zoo!
