GRIDSERVE’s most rock and roll charging experience is ready to welcome Knebworth Estate visitors for the spring and summer season.
The Stevenage Electric Forecourt® is located just off the A1(M) junction at the entrance of our estate and provides visitors, festivalgoers, staff and local communities around the historic estate and in the wider Hertfordshire area the confidence to go electric.
Open to everyone, the GRIDSERVE charging station provides quick, convenient and reliable EV charging, as well as space to relax and recharge yourself.
At Stevenage Electric Forecourt®, there are 24 High Power bays offering up to 360kW of power – some of the fastest chargers publicly available today, capable of adding up to 100 miles of range in ten minutes.
Slower AC chargers, standalone CHAdeMO units and Tesla Superchargers are also available with payment via the new GRIDSERVE app or contactless card and device.
The chargers are powered by net zero carbon energy, supporting GRIDSERVE’s purpose to move the needle on climate change as it continues to expand the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway with more than 1,500 charging bays across the UK.
Inside, there’s a Costa Coffee and a Little Fresh ‘Good To Go’ convenience store powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, plus an EV Experience Zone upstairs.
GRIDSERVE’s EV gurus are also on site to answer any questions about electric cars and help you plug in and charge.
