Park
Best known for its rock concerts with Queen, Oasis, Robbie Williams, Sonisphere , etc. Knebworth park is 250 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside, great for picnics, games and you may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the grazing herds of deer.
Gardens
There are 28 acres of stunning Formal Gardens that are separated into ‘garden rooms’ designed by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, who married into the Lytton family in. The gardens are a sensational experience, with colour throughout the season and fantastic aromas. There are also delightful wooden carvings scattered about the gardens that bring added pleasure.
Adventure Playground
The fantastic Fort Knebworth has brought joy to thousands of children over its 40 year history. We also have some great new play equipment fresh for the 2018 season, which your children can be amongst the first to play on!. It has everything a kid needs to burn off energy during the school holidays.
Dinosaur Trail
The trail of 72 life-sized dinosaurs aims to teach children about the pre-historic creatures, such as the difference between the teeth of a carnivore and a herbivore. However, it soon became apparent that adults love them just as much! A dinosaur trail quiz is available from the Gift Shop.
