All four-year-olds love dinosaurs.\u00a0 And there is no better time to go on a dinosaur safari in the gardens of Knebworth House than the height of summer, when the lizards are hiding in the thick foliage and undergrowth of the garden in full bloom.\u00a0 This summer the dinosaurs have been joined, all over the garden, by other animals \u2013 favourites of all ages \u2013 crocodiles, panthers, cheetahs, a leopard, a zebra\u2026 all part of our Open Air Sculpture Exhibit, which runs until the end of August.\u00a0 The show features the work of 19 contemporary sculptors, each displaying two or three pieces using materials including bronze, marble, stone, copper and stainless steel.\u00a0 A pair of wonderful\u00a0crocodiles\u00a0are part of a predator series made by Scottish artist Helen Denerley out of scrap metal \u2013 beautiful, but even more menacing for their interlocking chain spines and threaded bolt claws.\u00a0 So if the holiday budget doesn\u2019t stretch to a trip to Africa this year \u2013 or the Jurassic period! \u2013 Take a safari closer to home!<\/p>\n
